Enjoy these recipes for 20+ Diabetes Friendly Snacks when you've got the munchies but want to keep carbs in check!

For National Diabetes Month this November I wanted to focus my posts on sharing recipes and articles for people with diabetes.  However, even if you don’t have diabetes, this post has some great snack ideas for everyone!  I love to snack and I know I’m not the only one.

I often recommend snacks for my clients with diabetes – with a disclaimer.  You do need to watch the amount and what type of carbohydrates are in your snack.  I usually recommend snacks with around 15 grams of carbohydrates (or less) per serving.  In my healthy snacking formula, I also suggest combining at least two macronutrients in your snack. Below I’m sharing 20+ diabetes friendly snacks, all with around 15 grams of carbs or less per serving – and all delicious! From sweet to savory and even some combos of the two, there is sure to be a recipe here for whatever snacking mood you’re in!
